An EAP is a service provided by local employers to help their employees and/or their family members when problems may be interfering with their everyday functioning in the workplace or at home. The service is paid for by the employer as part of their benefit package. Family & Children's Service of Niagara has EAP contracts with many area employers to provide these short-term assessment and counseling services for their employees. All services are free to the employee and are confidential.

How do you know if you need professional help? You may not know.  If you have an EAP, call your EAP counselor and together you can decide what may be best for you and your family. Family & Children’s has offices in Niagara Falls and Lockport , both with day and evening hours for your convenience.

Family & Children’s also offers supervisory training, employee orientations, and self-improvement seminars through the EAP contract.

Area businesses can contract with Family & Children's Service to provide EAP benefits to their employees by contacting the Counseling Director at 285-6984.
