Who we serve.

Niagara County is approximately 523 square miles. Casey House Shelter, located in the city of Niagara Falls , is not easily accessible to youth/families that live in the more rural areas of the county, especially if they do not have access to transportation. The Case Manager is available to meet with youth and their families at locations in the community that are convenient to them. In addition, services may be provided to youth who may not necessarily need emergency crisis shelter and/or youth who leave Casey House and request additional short term family services. Participants receiving service are encouraged to come to Casey House, but when this is not convenient staff will make arrangements to accommodate each family.

Outreach efforts also include community presentations to groups such as:

  • Community service providers
  • Small and large group presentations to youth in a school setting
  • Guidance Counselors and school administrators
  • Literature distribution via table displays at youth events and school events.
